This has been quite a month!  The Bold Brush Competition is a monthly competition sponsored by FASO that not only recognizes top artists with awards  but also rewards them with prize money.  I was notified that my painting "LaVida" was recognized for being in the top 15% of all artists submissions from around the globe.  

So excited to announce that "TUTTI FRUTTI" has been juried in the International exhibition "Joy" by the Edward Dixon gallery in Ohio.

The exhibition will be virtual and feature artists from across the globe.  Slated to begin August 1st - 31st the spirited exhibition is designed to bring you JOY and lift your spirits and  we can all use some of that right about now.

So excited to announce that I have been accepted in the prestigious National Association of Women Artists based in New York.

Along with the acceptance there will be an induction ceremony in New York at NAWA  in November 2021.  . Each accepted artist will have their selected work projected on a large screen for the audience to view and  also will have an opportunity to discuss their work.  Selected artists will also participate in a New Members show at the new NAWA gallery.  Women artists have long been under recognized for their contributions to the art world.  NAWA is an organization dedicated to empowering women artists and helping them get the recognition they so richly deserve.  I'm proud to be a part of such a wonderful organization and I look forward to growing as an artist and a member.
